Jerusalem, 27 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel confirmed on Sunday it killed the Palestinian terrorist filmed abducting Israeli hostages Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or on the morning of Hamas’ October 7, 2023 attack.
According to the Israel Defense Forces and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), Saher Nidal Latfi Sakr was Killed in an airstrike Saturday in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza.
Sakr drove the motorcycle used to take Argamani and Or, her boyfriend, from the Nova music festival in footage that was widely seen on social media.
Argamai was eventually rescued in June 2024 along with Almog Meir, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv. She later traveled to New York to share her story at the United Nations.
Or was released as part of a ceasefire agreement on October 13, 2025.
At least 1,200 people were killed, and 252 Israelis and foreigners were taken hostage in Hamas’s attacks on Israeli communities near the Gaza border on October 7.
