Jerusalem, 4 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — IDF forces from the Samaria Brigade, guided by the Shin Bet, on Friday morning completed a 48-hour operation in the Shechem area and nearby villages. The forces destroyed more than 30 lathes used to manufacture weapons and seized hidden firearms, handguns, and ammunition.
Troops searched hundreds of locations, questioned dozens of suspects and arrested more than 10 wanted individuals.
The 442nd Samaria Territorial Brigade operates under the Central Command’s Judea and Samaria Division and is responsible for the Shechem area and surrounding parts of northern Samaria.
