Police Drill for Terror Attack, Gunfire on Hadera-Area Communities
Israeli security forces conducted a large-scale drill simulating a terror attack with gunfire in communities near Hadera, enhancing operational readiness.
Jerusalem, 4 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A large-scale drill simulating a terrorist attack with gunfire at Israeli communities was held Thursday night in the Baqa al-Gharbiyye police precinct. The exercise was led by the Israel Police’s Romach Unit, Baqa Police, and local volunteer security teams and other forces.
The drill was part of the police’s efforts to improve operational readiness and cooperation among security forces.
The exercise focused on Magal and Ma’or, two neighboring communities in the Menashe Regional Council in central-northern Israel. Forces practiced quickly deploying to the area, engaging attackers and coordinating a response at multiple locations.
The drill aimed to improve the forces’ readiness and their ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and terrorist attacks.
