IDF and Border Police forces operated overnight (Sunday) in the area of the village of Jalud in the Samaria Brigade, to disperse Israeli rioters and protect the village residents.

Due to the violence, the mission to return them to their homes was not completed. In the village, over 100 Israeli rioters were present, blocking roads, setting tires on fire, and throwing stones at security forces. The rioters also burned Palestinian structures in the village, set fire to vehicles and other property. As a result of the clashes, three Border Police officers were lightly injured, and damage was caused to a security forces vehicle. The forces acted to disperse the gathering using crowd dispersal measures and arrested two suspects who were transferred for investigation by the Judea and Samaria District Police. Subsequently, Judea and Samaria District investigators, along with forensic investigators, will enter the scene under the security of IDF forces to collect findings, evidence, and take testimonies for the ongoing investigation. The security establishment strongly condemns any harm to security personnel during the performance of their duties, acts of vandalism, and damage to property. Incidents of this nature divert attention, undermine stability, and harm the defense and counter-terrorism activities of the security forces.
