IDF Strikes Hezbollah Targets in Southern Lebanon After Drone Attack
The IDF retaliated with strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon following a drone attack on Israeli forces.

Jerusalem, 5 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF struck terrorists and Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in Southern Lebanon on Friday night.
The strikes came in response to an attempted Hezbollah attack against IDF forces operating in the security zone, during which a drone was launched toward the troops. No Israeli Forces were injured.
As part of the strikes, the Israeli Air Force targeted weapons depots intended for use by Hezbollah Terrorists to plan and direct terrorist attacks against IDF forces operating in the security zone and against Israeli civilians. The strikes were carried out to remove an immediate threat.
