Jerusalem, 11 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday strongly condemned a deadly Houthi missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, expressing Israel’s condolences to the victims’ families.
The attack on Saturday killed 12 people and wounded 309 others, according to Saudi authorities. The Iran-backed Yemeni rebels were blamed for the strike, which targeted civilian aviation infrastructure.
“I condemn in the strongest possible terms the horrific terrorist attack at Riyadh airport,” Netanyahu said. “On behalf of the citizens of Israel, I extend our deepest condolences to the families of those murdered and wish the injured a full recovery.”
He added that terrorism targets innocent people and seeks to spread fear and instability, and must be confronted with determination. Netanyahu said Israel looks forward to a strong Middle East united against threats, protecting its people and building a future of security, cooperation and prosperity.
