Tourism Studies Expand to 82 Israeli High Schools

4,500 Israeli high school students will study tourism in 82 schools nationwide, focusing on heritage, culture, and digital marketing.

Jerusalem, 31 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Approximately 4,500 Israeli high school students will study tourism in 82 schools nationwide during the coming school year, including 1,500 10th-graders, according to the Tourism Ministry.

The program combines classroom studies with practical exposure to Israel’s tourism, heritage, culture and landscapes, while increasingly incorporating digital tourism, marketing, social media and emerging technologies.
