IDF forces continue counter-terrorism operations in Judea and Samaria.

During the Sukkot holiday and the intermediate days (Chol HaMoed), fighters from the 931st Battalion and the Maglan unit, under the command of the Samaria Brigade, operated to thwart terrorism in the Judea and Samaria region.

As part of the operation, the forces arrested wanted individuals, interrogated suspects, and confiscated weapons and equipment used for terrorist activities, including materials used for manufacturing explosives.

In the city of Nablus, the forces operated in nighttime arrest operations in Balata and the Kasbah. During the operation, six terrorists were arrested, including a Hamas operative, who were engaged in terrorist activity.

Concurrently, as part of the brigade’s counter-terrorism efforts, the forces arrested approximately 50 terrorists, including a terrorist cell. During the operation, a terrorist who attempted to throw an explosive device at the forces was neutralized. Additionally, a large quantity of combat equipment was confiscated, including several drones.

Alongside the counter-terrorism operations, IDF forces operated to secure hundreds of thousands of travelers who visited tourist sites throughout Judea and Samaria during the intermediate days of Sukkot.
