IDF attacks Hezbollah terrorists, infrastructure in southern Lebanon

As part of the strikes, the Air Force attacked weapons storage facilities and terrorist structures intended for use by Hezbollah terrorists for planning and directing terror attacks in the security area. In addition, the IDF attacked a Hezbollah terrorist organization headquarters established within a structure that previously served as a hospital, in the area of southern Lebanon. Recently, Hezbollah terrorists operated from the headquarters, engaging in, among other things, observation and artillery. All targets were attacked to remove the threat, after the organization’s terrorists advanced terror attacks against IDF forces and civilians of the State of Israel. The Hezbollah terrorist organization uses medical infrastructure to advance terror attacks. The strikes were carried out in response to the Hezbollah terrorist organization’s attempted operation yesterday against IDF forces operating in the Ali Taher ridge area, during which two explosive drones were launched towards the forces. There were no casualties among our forces. Prior to the strikes, precautionary measures were taken to minimize expected civilian damage, including the use of precision munitions and aerial observation.
