There were no casualties among our forces. In response to this action, the IDF attacked infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon. The attacked infrastructure was used by the organization’s operatives to plan and direct terror attacks against IDF forces in the security zone and against Israeli civilians. These attacks were carried out to remove an immediate threat. IDF forces will continue to operate in the ridge area and will not allow operatives in the area to advance and carry out terror attacks against IDF forces. The IDF is currently operating and will continue to operate forcefully against the repeated attempts by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm our forces.
