Following extensive research, the IDF is now revealing that 170 Gazans killed during the war, who were presented as journalists and media personnel, actually served as terrorists for the Strip’s terror organizations, primarily Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
The IDF is now publishing verified evidence, including visuals and documents produced by the terror organizations, some of which were found in the field, indicating the organizational affiliation of these terrorists and the roles they filled within the terror organizations.
Throughout the war, various media outlets in the international community repeatedly accused the State of Israel and the IDF of intentionally harming journalists, without presenting verified findings. This occurred even though in some cases, the terror organizations themselves presented these individuals as terrorists within their ranks and even provided them with patronage.
The information now being revealed illustrates the gap between the narrative presented globally and the reality on the ground, and presents additional conclusive evidence that the IDF does not operate intentionally and systematically against journalists, but rather against terror organizations and their operatives, in accordance with international law.
For this revelation, the IDF has established a dedicated website, which compiles the names and photos of the 170 terrorists, their organizational affiliation, the roles they filled, and the evidence that can be disclosed regarding them.
