Jerusalem, 12 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The injured from today’s explosion near the Lebanese border were a group of high school students and teachers on a hike.
The location, near Kibbutz Neot Mordechai, is close to the Lebanese border. The Israel Defense Forces is investigating the cause of the blast. Unconfirmed media reports suggest the blast may have been caused by unexploded ordnance.
