Jerusalem, 12 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Health has issued a public warning stating “Hanna Ambulance” is no longer licensed to operate emergency medical services, following a court ruling upholding the regulatory shutdown. The company is based in the northern Arab town of Shefa-‘Amr.
The enforcement action, said the Ministry, follows a three-year investigation prompted by public complaints. Regulatory inspections uncovered severe safety violations, including operating standard vehicles as mobile intensive care units with unapproved equipment and unqualified medical staff, directly violating national health protocols.
Health officials urged citizens and healthcare facilities nationwide to verify provider accreditation before booking private emergency transportation, reaffirming strict regulatory oversight to maintain public safety and standard medical protocols.
