Jerusalem, 22 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Finance and Defense ministries on Tuesday selected Adir Capital and SLING CAPITAL as winners of a tender to establish state-guaranteed venture capital funds focused on advanced defense technologies.
Adir Capital, operated by Idan Financial Instruments, and SLING CAPITAL, operated by Giza, will invest in defense-tech startups to strengthen Israel’s technological and industrial independence, develop critical supply chains and promote economic growth.
“The state guarantee will enable increased investment in advanced technologies, strengthen Israel’s technological and industrial independence, and support the growth of Israeli companies and entrepreneurs,” Finance Ministry Director General Israel Mehlabi said.
The funds are expected to complete fundraising and begin operations in the coming months.
“After three years of war, we must increase investment in research and development to maintain the qualitative-strategic advantage of the security system and develop the next generation of technological ‘surprises,’” the Defense Ministry’s Director General, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Bar-Lev, said.
