Jerusalem, 6 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — JERUSALEM — Two people were injured in a vehicle explosion on Meir Feinstein Street in Jerusalem’s Armon HaNetziv neighborhood early Tuesday morning, emergency responders reported.
Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics treated two victims with varying degrees of injuries at the scene before transferring them to local hospitals for urgent medical care.
Jerusalem District police officers and forensic teams cordoned off the area to gather physical evidence and launch a full investigation. Preliminary police assessments indicate the explosion was criminally motivated and likely linked to an ongoing underworld dispute rather than a terror attack. Forensic experts continue to inspect the wreckage to identify the explosive device used.
