Israel Police and Border Police uncover and seize weapons in two partially excavated tunnels in Qalqilya, arresting four suspects.
Weapons were located and seized at the scene. Four suspects were arrested for investigation. As part of a precise intelligence and offensive operation, Israel Police officers from the Samaria district and Border Police fighters from Judea and Samaria conducted a targeted search in the city of Qalqilya. During the search, a tunnel whose excavation was not yet complete was located, and at this stage, its depth is at least approximately 25 meters. In addition, the forces uncovered the beginning of the excavation of another tunnel. During the search, an M16 rifle, a sniper rifle, ammunition, magazines, telephones, fertilizer (a substance used for preparing explosives), and a DVR device were located and seized. Four suspects were arrested at the scene and were transferred for investigation by the police.
