Three Border Officers Injured as Security Forces Disperse Violent Israeli Riot in Jalud
Over 100 Israeli rioters attacked Palestinian homes and security forces in Jalud overnight, injuring three Border Police officers before being dispersed.
Jerusalem, 29 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — JALUD — Israeli military and Border Police forces operated overnight Monday in Jalud, near Shechem (Nablus), to disperse over 100 Israeli rioters who blocked roads, set fire to Palestinian homes and vehicles, and threw stones at security personnel.
The violence erupted during a coordinated effort to return a displaced Palestinian family to their home, forcing officials to suspend the operation. Three Border Police officers suffered light injuries, and a security vehicle was damaged before troops dispersed the crowd using riot control gear.
Two suspects were arrested as police forensic teams launched an investigation. Israel’s defense establishment condemned the attacks, warning that violent extremism destabilizes the region and impairs vital counter-terrorism operations.
