The Police Commissioner and senior command staff held a ceremony at the old police station in Sderot. At the same time, tribute ceremonies were held concurrently in other combat zones, during which wreaths were laid in memory of fallen officers and fighters. At the end of the ceremony, the Commissioner and senior command staff departed in a state motorcade of police vehicles, carrying the Israeli flags, from Sderot towards Kibbutz Re’im. During the visit, the commanders commemorated the fallen at the sites of battles and remembrance. The Commissioner, Commissioner-General Danny Levy: “In all combat zones, our heroic personnel were united by the same mission: to reach those in danger and save their lives. Our officers fought, few against many, with limited means and under heavy fire. Together, they formed a human chain of heroism, camaraderie, and life-saving.”
