Police Commissioner and Northern District Commander conduct Afula tour, briefing on security readiness for Rosh Hashanah & High Holidays.
Ahead of Rosh Hashanah and the High Holidays, the Inspector General of the Police, Commissioner Danny Levi, and the Commander of the Northern District, Superintendent Meir Eliyahu, held a field deployment tour today in the city of Afula. During the tour, the District Commander briefed the Inspector General on the deployment of forces and the operational readiness of hundreds of District Police officers, Border Police fighters, municipal policing forces, and police volunteers deployed in the sector. The Inspector General praised the activities of the police officers and Border Police fighters for their significant contribution to public safety, to ensure that every home in Israel can celebrate Rosh Hashanah in security, peace, and tranquility.
