Nine Illegals Arrested after Pelting Passersby from Windows

Nine illegal residents were arrested overnight in south Tel Aviv after allegedly pelting stones at passersby from an apartment window.

Jerusalem, 28 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — During an overnight operation by Border Police officers in south Tel Aviv, nine illegal residents were arrested inside an apartment.

The arrests followed searches in the area, during which a local woman approached the officers and reported that shortly beforehand, stones had been thrown at her and other passersby from a window of a nearby building.

The woman directed the officers to the building’s entrance. They entered and traced the shouting emanating from one of the apartments, where they found the nine suspects.

All nine were in Israel illegally. They were arrested and taken to the Sharet Police Station in the Tel Aviv District for further questioning.
