Bnei Brak–Ramat Gan station Police officers arrived at the scene along with firefighters and medical and rescue teams, and began evacuating the elderly and searching the building. According to medical sources, 22 injured individuals with varying degrees of injury were evacuated from the scene. The police opened an investigation, collecting findings and evidence along with a fire investigator. Preliminary examination suggests suspicion that an elderly person who was at the location lit a cigarette near an oxygen tank, and as a result, the fire broke out. The investigation is ongoing.
