Jerusalem, 20 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Police arrested eight suspects during an overnight operation in the Negev that uncovered firearms, magazines, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
The operation was conducted as part of ongoing enforcement efforts targeting illegal weapons and criminal activity in southern Israel. Police forces carried out searches at several locations, during which they discovered weapons and ammunition allegedly held illegally.
The suspects were detained and taken for questioning as investigators worked to determine their alleged involvement and the intended use of the seized weapons.
