Jerusalem, 11 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli Police arrested a man in his 20s from al-Eizariya (Bethany) after receiving a report that he had expressed an intention to carry out an imminent terrorist attack.
Officers from the Ma’ale Adumim police station, together with Border Police fighters operating around Jerusalem, launched searches and established roadblocks to locate him. The suspect was Arrested in al-Eizariya while wearing a face covering. A search of his belongings uncovered a knife and a glass cup containing nails and paper, allegedly intended to be thrown and ignited. He was transferred to Ma’ale Adumim police station for questioning and subsequently jailed.
The Judea and Samaria District Police’s nationalistic crime investigation unit is handling the case. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not disclosed further details about the alleged attack plan.
