Jaffa shooting: Man dead, minor hurt; criminal probe launched

Jaffa shooting leaves one man dead and a minor injured; police are conducting a criminal investigation and searching for suspects.

Forces from the Jaffa station and the forensic identification unit of the Ayalon district arrived at the scene and began extensive searches to locate suspects and collect findings from the scene. A man in his fifties was evacuated from the scene in critical condition and his death was later pronounced. Additionally, a minor in moderate condition was evacuated from the scene. Commander of the Tel Aviv District, Superintendent Haim Srugov, held a situation assessment at the scene of the incident together with the Commander of the Ayalon district, Superintendent Daniel Haddad, and the district command. The background to the incident is criminal.
