Jerusalem, 2 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — About 55 tons of dairy and processed food products suspected of being smuggled from the Palestinian Authority were seized in a raid on a warehouse in Jerusalem’s Atarot industrial zone, the Agriculture and Food Security Ministry said Wednesday.
Inspectors found three refrigerated trucks loaded with unsupervised products lacking permits, ready for distribution in Israel, including milk, yogurt, cheese, hummus and salads. The goods were ordered destroyed over concerns for public health.
