Israeli Arrested Over Saturdays Qusra Clash
Israeli police arrested a 19-year-old Samaria resident in connection with Saturday's violent clashes in the Palestinian village of Qusra.
Jerusalem, 3 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Police on Thursday arrested a 19-year-old Samaria resident, the first suspect detained in connection with last Saturday’s violent clashes in the Palestinian village of Qusra.
The suspect was arrested in a joint operation by the Judea and Samaria District’s interagency command, the Shin Bet, and the Yasam special patrol unit. He was taken for questioning and is expected to appear in court later on Thursday for a hearing on his remand to prison.
The violence in the village drew condemnation from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said he “strongly condemns the heinous acts of violence committed in Qusra.”
