Jerusalem, 15 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Economy and Industry Ministry on Thursday announced a recall of a MATRIX ceiling fan after an inspection found that the product does not meet Israeli safety standards and could detach from its mounting and fall during operation, potentially causing serious injury.

The affected product is the MATRIX MX-CF42-4CL-WH ceiling fan, identifiable by its white pull cord and barcode 6856741212158. Manufactured in China, the fans were sold in Israel between April 2023 and April 2025. The inspection found that the fan’s mechanical connection was insufficiently strong, creating a risk that the unit could come loose while running.

Saynet Leket Ltd, the Israeli importer and distributor, is instructing consumers to stop using the fan immediately and contact the company to arrange a repair or replacement.
