Bnei Brak criminal incident thwarted, pistol seized

As part of the fight against serious and organized crime, and in light of the increasing use of weapons among criminal elements, officers from the Dan region, in cooperation with riot police officers and the animal unit of the Tel Aviv District, conducted a focused operational activity in the city of Bnei Brak. As part of the activity, searches were conducted in several apartments located in the Pardes Katz neighborhood of the city. During the searches, officers found a sock inside a closet in a living room, in which a loaded handgun, 9mm bullets, security cameras, and DVR devices were hidden. The two suspects, residents of Bnei Brak, aged 56 and 69, were arrested and taken for investigation. At the end of the investigation, they were brought before the court, which extended their arrest.
