As part of a joint operation by the Northern District’s Central Unit and the General Security Service, Yaakov Shibli, 19, a resident of the town of Shibli in the north, was arrested during the month of August.

His investigation revealed that he expressed identification with the terrorist organization ISIS, watched content from the terrorist organization, and pledged allegiance to it. Upon completion of the investigation, an indictment will be filed against him. This case joins three other cases from recent days, in which indictments were filed against residents of the North for identifying with the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization.
