Jerusalem, 2 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli technology startup DataAgent has emerged from stealth with a $10 million pre-seed funding round to develop an artificial intelligence platform designed to autonomously detect and fix software infrastructure failures.

DataAgent’s platform operates within customers’ cloud infrastructure, aiming to resolve incidents without sending telemetry to external vendors and reduce observability costs. The company was founded in January by CEO Ishay Yaari and CTO Nati Shalom, who previously worked together at Israeli cloud orchestration company Cloudify, acquired by US technology giant Dell in 2023.

The Tel Aviv-based company said Tuesday that the round was led by Israeli venture capital firm MizMaa Ventures and UK-based Alicorn Venture Partners.
