Nebius Acquires Israeli AI Startup Inferize for $100150 Million
Nebius, led by Arkady Volozh, has acquired Israeli AI startup Inferize for $100-150 million, integrating its cold start reduction technology into Nebius Token.
Jerusalem, 1 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Nebius, the Nasdaq-listed AI cloud company led by Arkady Volozh, has acquired Israeli startup Inferize in a deal estimated at $100 million to $150 million, according to Israeli business reports. The financial terms were not disclosed by Nebius.
Founded just 10 months ago by former Granulate executives Guy Bortnikov and Lior Gorbonos, Inferize has 17 employees in Tel Aviv and has operated in stealth.
The company developed technology designed to reduce “cold starts,” the delay while AI models load onto GPUs before they can begin processing requests. By allowing computing capacity to scale more closely with demand, the technology can reduce idle GPU capacity and computing costs.
Inferize reportedly produced a working prototype within three months of its founding. Its technology and team will be integrated into Nebius Token Factory, the company’s managed platform for running AI models in production.
