17 Local Planning and Building Committees Have Yet to Complete Building Offense Surveys
17 local planning committees haven't completed building offense surveys, prompting demands from the Real Estate Enforcement Authority for compliance.
Jerusalem, 4 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — As part of control activities conducted by the Real Estate Enforcement Authority, it was found that 17 local planning and building committees have not yet completed or updated the survey within their jurisdiction as required by law. The Authority issued a demand to the committees to complete the surveys, which serve as a key tool for mapping offenses, setting priorities, and planning enforcement activity; concurrently, it is currently evaluating further steps regarding these committees.
At the center of educational activities will stand the memory and stories of the murdered and fallen, the hostages, the returned captives, and the impacted families and communities. Alongside remembrance and loss, students will also engage with stories of bravery and rescue, mutual support, and the psychological fortitude revealed within Israeli society, as well as processes of rehabilitation, returning to life, and renewal.
