TPS: Nova Survivor and Israels Eurovision Star to Perform at Memorial for Victims
Nova festival survivor and Eurovision 2025 star Yuval Raphael will perform at a memorial ceremony at the Re'im site on October 7.
Jerusalem, 17 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Singer Yuval Raphael, a survivor of the Nova festival massacre and Israel’s representative at Eurovision 2025, will perform at the memorial and remembrance ceremony organized by bereaved families and the Nova community association on Wednesday, October 7, at the Re’im site of the Nova festival.
Raphael, who survived the attack after hiding for hours in a shelter, said ahead of the event that returning to the site is difficult and painful, but that it is exactly where she wants to be, alongside the families and the Nova community.
“It’s very hard for me to go back there; it’s painful and even frightening to stand before all the dear people who lost the most precious thing and to sing,” she said, “but it’s the one place I want and need to be.”
