Jerusalem, 15 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Nearly 28% of Israeli businesses use artificial intelligence in their operations, according to Central Bureau of Statistics figures released on Tuesday.
High-tech firms lead the trend, with 60% adopting AI—over half through paid services. Larger companies are also more likely to use AI intensively compared to smaller ones. While 42% of managers said AI replaced routine tasks, 14% noted it handles complex functions once done by employees. Despite concerns about automation, 89% of businesses reported no change in staffing levels.
Looking ahead, 28% of businesses plan to adopt AI within six months. Israel’s AI adoption rate exceeds the EU average of 13%.
