Jerusalem, 1 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Histadrut labor federation, Airports Authority management and the workers’ committee agreed Tuesday to strengthen cooperation and dialogue to ensure the continued operation of Israel’s airports and adequate service to travelers. The agreement comes ahead of the High Holidays, when Ben Gurion Airport traditionally faces increased passenger traffic.

The parties also agreed to accelerate recruitment of needed personnel in line with the authority’s hiring plan.
