Religious Zionism MK Tears Down Palestinian Terror Memorial
Religious Zionism MK Zvi Sukkot destroyed a memorial honoring PFLP terrorist Yaman Tayeb Ali Faraj in Madama, Samaria, with IDF and Border Police present.
Jerusalem, 25 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Religious Zionism MK Zvi Sukkot was recorded Tuesday morning taking apart a memorial to terrorists in the Palestinian village of Madama in Samaria. Sukkot and his entourage were accompanied by IDF and Border Police forces.
Among those honored by the memorial was Yaman Tayeb Ali Faraj, head of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Shechem, who, according to Israel’s Supreme Court, commandeered a suicide bomber who murdered 4 Israeli civilians and wounded more than 20 at Geha Junction, near Bar Ilan University.
Sukkot, who chairs the Knesset Subcommittee on Judea and Samaria Affairs, requested the Knesset officer and the IDF’s approval a month ago to tour Palestinian villages. The tour was approved several days ago and scheduled for Tuesday morning. When the MK arrived at the memorial, he began smashing it with a hammer.
