Jerusalem, 20 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — An Israeli man in his 30s was killed in a shooting attack near Neve Tzuf in the Binyamin region, located north of Jerusalem, Israeli police said. He was evacuated in critical condition but later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Samaria Regional Police and Judea and Samaria District forensic teams launched an investigation at the scene, while police and military forces conducted searches for the attacker using helicopter and drone support.
Senior police commanders were on-site coordinating the response. Roads connecting Oferim, Halamish, and Birzeit have been closed to traffic in both directions as the search continues.
