Jerusalem, 2 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli prosecutors are expected to file indictments on Thursday against three Israeli citizens accused of assisting the terrorist behind the June 7 shooting attack in Kochav Yair, Tzur Yitzhak and Sal’it, authorities said.

the attack killed Master Sergeant (Res.) Haim Kalomiti, a member of the Tzur Natan civilian security squad, and wounded several civilians before the attacker, Omar Mundar Yassin of Taiba, was shot dead by police following a brief chase.

Investigators said two suspects from Taiba allegedly knew of Yassin’s plans in advance but failed to prevent the attack. A third suspect, from Baqa al-Gharbiya, is accused of supplying the improvised “Carlo” firearm used in the shooting.
