Israeli Forces Locate Underground Shelter with Weapons Cache in South Lebanon

Israeli forces in South Lebanon have located an underground shelter and multiple weapons caches, including RPGs and explosives, during expanded ground.

Jerusalem, 6 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli Forces operating in Lebanon located an underground shelter with military equipment and weapons, including military vests, RPG rockets and explosives. This came, said the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), as it continues “focused ground operations to expand the security area in South Lebanon.”

In additional operations, forces located several weapons caches with Kalashnikov rifles, RPG guns, sniper weapons and equipment for prolonged stays.

In addition, the forces identified a terrorist organization observation post during searches and, in a quick round-up, destroyed it with tank fire.
