Jerusalem, 1 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Religious Zionism Party leader Bezalel Smotrich and former Likud MK Moshe Feiglin, leader of the Zehut Party, announced Monday night that they had merged their right-wing parties into a joint list for the upcoming Knesset elections.
“At this critical moment, responsibility is required of us: to join forces, expand the camp, and ensure no right-wing vote is lost,” Smotrich said at a joint announcement. He described Israel as being at “a decisive junction,” with the future of the national camp, the settlement movement, the judicial system, security, and the prevention of a Palestinian terror state all hanging in the balance.
Smotrich said the parties retain their separate identities but share the goal of securing victory for the national camp, calling on other parties in the bloc to join the merger.
