Jerusalem, 5 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A new national poll by the pro-Israel organization Boundless finds that while most Americans recognize that antisemitism is increasing, many struggle to identify it, particularly when it appears in discussions of Israel, Gaza, and protests.

The survey of 1,500 U.S. adults, conducted by Burson Insights & Intelligence from September 4–11, found that 64% believe antisemitism has increased since October 7, 2023. Among those who see an increase, 38% say antisemitism has become more socially acceptable. Yet 21% of Americans view antisemitism as a justified reaction to the war in Gaza, while 15% believe American Jews are complicit in genocide.

Overall, 69% view Jews favorably, falling to 61% among adults ages 18–34. Among young adults, 22% believe American Jews support Israel more than the United States, while 37% believe American Jews support Israel’s war in Gaza.

The poll’s margin of error is ±2.53 percentage points.
