Israel Police: In the National Fraud Investigation Unit at Lahav 433, an investigation has concluded in which suspicions of bribery, election bribery, and fraud and breach of trust were investigated.

as part of the covert and overt investigation by the National Fraud Investigations Unit (YAH), findings emerged raising suspicion that close to the local elections for the mayor of Acre on 27.2.24, Amihai Ben Shloush and others acted to transfer payments to voters, in order for them to vote for him. Furthermore, according to suspicion, Ben Shloush gave favors, promised public positions, and committed to various positions and benefits for associates, all in exchange for assistance in recruiting supporters in the elections. The investigation file was transferred today for review and decision by the State Attorney’s Office.
