Israel Condemns UK Green Party as Terror-Supporting Organization Over Anti-Zionist Resolution
Israel's Foreign Ministry declared Britain's Green Party a "terror-supporting organization" after it passed an anti-Zionist resolution.
Jerusalem, 4 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Foreign Ministry on Sunday condemned Britain’s Green Party for adopting an anti-Zionist resolution, declaring that the party had ceased functioning as a political movement and had become a “terror-supporting organization.”
The ministry said the Greens had officially adopted Hamas’s green color and ideological platform, which calls for Israel’s destruction through armed struggle.
The resolution legitimizes “armed resistance,” calls for a Palestinian state “from the river to the sea,” and equates Zionism with racism, the ministry said, describing it as a de facto call for Israel’s destruction.
“This is no longer a political text,” the ministry declared. “It crosses the boundaries of political discourse and, until removed, will remain a stain on the history of the United Kingdom.”
Israel called on all British political parties, particularly the governing Labour Party, to immediately and unequivocally disavow the resolution.
