Jerusalem, 20 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s opposition Change Bloc is holding discussions with the Arab-majority Joint List about coordinating parliamentary moves after the October 27 Knesset election, Israeli media reported Tuesday. The talks focus on possible cooperation in the next parliament, although the parties have not announced a formal agreement.

The discussions concern potential cooperation in the Knesset following the vote, as opposition parties consider how to coordinate their activity in the next parliamentary session. The talks do not, by themselves, establish an agreement to form a government together.

The Joint List’s role could prove significant in post-election parliamentary negotiations, depending on the election results and the positions adopted by the various parties. Any arrangement would still depend on the parties’ willingness to cooperate and on the balance of power in the incoming Knesset.
