Jerusalem, 11 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Naftali Bennett, leader of the Together party, unveiled his proposed “Revolution for Those Who Serve,” promising to halt state funding for what he called the “draft-dodging public” and redirect the money to Israelis who serve in the military.
“For 17 years, Netanyahu has been financing draft evasion in exchange for staying in power,” Bennett declared. “Netanyahu is dismantling the IDF, and he knows it. The chief of staff has raised 10 red flags for him.”
Bennett said his plan would redirect NIS 30 billion ($9.79 billion) from those who evade military service to those who serve.
“Anyone who does not serve the state will not receive a single shekel from the state,” he said, rejecting partial exemptions. “Not 50% exemptions, not 30% exemptions, zero exemptions.”
The proposal places military conscription and funding for non-serving populations at the center of Bennett’s election campaign.
