Jerusalem, 20 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Hadash-Ta’al chairman Ayman Odeh declared that ending what he calls the “occupation” is only a matter of time, describing efforts to influence Israeli public opinion as central to achieving that goal.

In an interview on a podcast filmed in Palestinian Authority-controlled territory, Odeh outlined three factors that he believes bring occupations to an end: the struggle of the people under occupation, international public opinion, and public opinion within the country conducting the occupation.

“When the third factor matures, ending the ‘occupation’ becomes a matter of time,” Odeh said.

He explained that his political activity within Israeli society focuses on changing public attitudes to create conditions for ending Israeli control.

Odeh also identified bringing down Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government as his immediate top priority, declaring that fighting what he called “fascism” was the most important task.
