250 young Christians Assemble to Declare Alliance with Israel, Jews
Young Christian leaders convened in Washington D.C. to affirm their alliance with Israel and the Jewish community, addressing rising antisemitism on U.S.
Jerusalem, 28 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — More Than 250 young Christian leaders, students, and alumni gathered in Washington, D.C., September 25–27 for Passages’ Israel Impact Summit, declaring support for Israel and friendship with the Jewish people amid continued antisemitism on American college campuses.
Passages is a Christian nonprofit that provides educational travel experiences to Israel for Christian high school and college students.
The three-day event at the Museum of the Bible featured discussions on Israel, Christian faith, antisemitism, misinformation and advocacy. A student panel highlighted campus experiences, while sessions explored Christian Zionism, social media and U.S. foreign policy.
ADL recorded 583 antisemitic incidents on U.S. campuses in 2025, three times the 2021 figure.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said antisemitism remains a pervasive threat to Israel and Jews; Jonathan Schanzer (Foundation for Defense of Democracies) called for a lasting U.S.-Israel alliance; and Israel’s Envoy to the Christian World George Deek urged deeper Christian-Jewish partnership.
