Israeli Military Strike Eliminates Hamas Weapons Supply Commander in Gaza City
The IDF struck in Gaza City's Sabra area, eliminating Hamas weapons supply commander Omar Mohammed Roshdy Saraj and another operative.
Jerusalem, 31 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) struck in the Sabra area of Gaza City on Monday, eliminating Omar Mohammed Roshdy Saraj, a commander in Hamas’s Gaza City supply and maintenance company who managed weapons supply to Hamas terrorists in the area.
Another Hamas terrorist was also eliminated in the same strike, the military said.
The IDF said the terrorists had recently been advancing attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians while working to rehabilitate Hamas’s capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The strikes were carried out to remove the threat they posed.
