Israeli Military Eliminates Two Hamas Terrorists in Strikes Across Gaza

The IDF eliminated two Hamas terrorists, a commander and an operative, in strikes across Gaza for advancing attacks and violating the ceasefire.

Jerusalem, 27 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) struck in the Al-Shati area of northern Gaza on Thursday, eliminating Bilal Ibrahim Saleh Raqi’i, a commander in Hamas’s anti-tank array.

In an additional strike in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, the IDF eliminated Azzam Rifaat Abd Abadala, an operative in Hamas’s Khan Younis Brigade.

The IDF said the terrorists had recently continued advancing attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians while attempting to rebuild Hamas’s capabilities, in violation of the ceasefire agreement. They were struck to remove the threat they posed.
