Jerusalem, 25 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a major military exercise on Sunday involving the Judea and Samaria Division, the 98th Division, the 96th Division, the 210th Division, and the Air Force.
The exercise, taking place Sunday and Monday across northern and central Israel, is designed to strengthen the military’s readiness to defend communities and respond to escalating threats across multiple fronts.
Troops will practice operational procedures and incorporate lessons learned from the war, including improving coordination between ground forces and the Air Force.
The exercise is part of the Operations Directorate’s preplanned 2026 training schedule. The IDF warned that increased movement of security forces, military vehicles, and aircraft would be noticeable in areas under the Northern and Central Commands.
The military emphasized that the exercise was planned in advance and that there is no security incident or immediate threat.
